Tulip with Blossoms as Mug Coasters
Tulip stand with blossoms out of a softer material can provide an excellent storage for your mug coasters which will impress every visitor. When mug coasters are not used on the table they are stacked as blossoms of the tulip flower placed on your table or somewhere in vicinity. Forget about the simple stacks of the mug coasters, but use our more decorative example to impress your visitors or simply to brighten your day.

Information about the tulip stem cutout
The tulip stem needs to be from hard material with some thickness, which depends on the thickness of your mug coasters. We recommend wood, but we have also seen it made out of MDF and cardboard. The material thickness will depend on how many layers you need to stack together to have enough width for the flower mug coasters to fit. The front and back covers provide support for the flower mug coasters so that they do not drop down from the stem when not used. They can be from the same material as the core of the stem, or you can opt for something more shiny or durable. Of course in the end you can also color the stem, just make sure you use proper colors for the used material.

The tulip flower is the useful part, that you will place under your glasses and mugs that will help to protect your table against scratches or heat. Make sure you pick something that isolates heat decently, which could be felt or wood. It can also be a thick cardboard, just make sure it is filled. The thickness of the flower blossoms should be enough so that they do not warp when placed straight on the stem and that they prevent damage to your table. The tulip flower can also have a logo inside if you want to present it as a gift.
